Capotes were worn by trappers and mountain men of the American Northwest and the Canadian Frontier, men who understood the warmth, durability and dependability of wool for the extreme conditions they encountered. Full length design made of New 55% wool blankets with long sleeves, rain cape across the back and shoulders and full hood with drawstring. Capote's are fully lined with reinforced stitching, hemmed edges, slash pockets, full cut sizing, full size hood....large enough to cover a hat.
